4 Levels to marketing; Level 2: Expressing progression and your “products” name

Today's Tip – 4 Levels to marketing; Level 2: Expressing progression and your “products” name

Start letting everyone you know carry your name on them, in them and around them. This is the part of Marketing where you move into Exposure. Exposure in marketing deals with getting people to walk around with your name. When you buy something from an establishment, such as Radio Shack, you walk out of that business with a bag carrying the Radio Shack logo. You just paid to Market Radio Shack. That is genius. Now think of your reality. Think about what you can do to bring people to carry around your product (company's name).

Stickers are a great starting point. Budget wise, they are cheap for a great many more items to hand out. Shirts are good, but they cost a lot of money for fewer amount. Handouts, like fliers or cup holders, pencils and even cups. Get your product in publications, radio Ads and even gather a few people up to start a solid street-team. A great way to expand your audience of interest comes with cross-marketing. Cross-marketing builds relationships with outside areas of concentration. Where an audience normally would not have looked at you, now they get a glimpse.

Take what you have learned from Level 1 marketing and enhance your push with those avenues. Utilizing both levels at this point will help expand your audience. The reason you start with level one is because marketing is about gaining a person's interest through a comfortable pace. Too much to soon can lose their attention. This is why creating a buzz in the beginning allows a person's interest to peek over a fence to see what else is going on. Once they choose to look, they'll choose to grab and carry their interest with them.
