Where you want to go is your destination (What you want to stand for, and do with yourself). Where you are to asses your net worth, business assets and foundation to go from.

Taking on the responsibilities of Research, Research, Research, you'll come to realize what it takes to fill your life with success. It takes hard work and dedication to making things happen. Some analytical avenues to take note of our; Primary Audience (who is your audience), Market Position (Define how you'll “differentiate” your offering) and Strengths & Weaknesses of both yourself and any direct competition out there. Of course looking into people/companies not in your particular field does not hurt either. After all, knowledge is power in this world.

This time is essential to building your company's brand. You are a brand. If you run your life as a business you will see a great deal of change in your life. Even wanting to go for a vacation to Europe should be handled like a business.
